SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 19, 1999 -- Intel Corporation today announced the completion of its previously announced merger with DSP Communications, Inc. (DSPC). This acquisition is an important element of Intel's plan to become the leading building block supplier to the Internet.
Intel merged its wholly owned subsidiary, CWC Acquisition Corporation, with and into DSPC, and DSPC became a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel effective Nov. 19, 1999. Each issued and outstanding share of DSPC common stock has been converted into the right to receive $36.00 in cash, without interest.
