An ESOP corporation, Bivar is located in the modern Spectrum Complex in Irvine, California, approximately 50 miles south of Los Angeles. Since it's inception in 1965, Bivar has designed, manufactured and marketed products to facilitate the assembly of components onto circuits boards, as well as the packaging of printed circuit boards. Operations are highly automated and computerized in all areas, including sales and inventory control and approved under ISO 9000:2000 standards.
Today, Bivar's product line is comprised of over 12,000 different standard styles and sizes of products. The company's greatest strength is in consistently providing solutions which protect fragile components, lower rework and reject costs, and improve the assembly and packaging process. While Bivar's products have been the basis for growth, its history of responsiveness and service is the reason for its success.
All Bivar products are stocked in the U.S. through an established network of authorized distributors. Bivar's standard products are all designed under strick ISO9000:2000 standards to facilitate production and ease manual and automated assembly. Its family of low-cost solutions comprises industry's largest selection of devices expressly made for use with the most popular components. All Bivar products are designed for OEM requirements. Many are designed to satisfy UL ratings with the use of materials such as 94V-2 or 94V-0. Over 3,000 products are cross-referenced to MIL Spec parts, including several built to MIL-M-38527 recently replaced by CID A-A-55485 specifications. 100% of Bivar product shipped since June 1, 2005 are RoHS compliant.
